About Us

The Baja California Sur Tourism Board (FITUES), in conjunction with the Loreto Tourism Board (FITULORE), is a Paraestatal organization composed of the Government of Baja California Sur and the private sector. Their objective is to promote Loreto as a global tourist destination, showcasing its culture, history, natural beauty, and its welcoming spirit for travellers from all corners of the world.

The friendly and laid-back people of Loreto, the desert’s mountains and canyons, as well as the wonders of the ‘Aquarium of the World,’ as named by Jacques-Yves Cousteau, referring to the Sea of Cortez, are some of the things we offer to travellers, demonstrating why LORETO is worth visiting at least once in a lifetime.

We pursue this mission in coordination with the Association of Hotels and Restaurants, as well as local tour operators.
